About

This blog is all about biology, which is pretty obvious by the title. My name is Susan Eckert and I'm the owner of this blog. I teach AP Biology and Anatomy and Physiology at Montclair High School in Montclair, NJ. I write a few posts when I have the time and the urge to shout something from the blogger mountaintop. But I'm really more of an editor at this point in time. My students write the posts and I give them feedback before they publish--it's a fun process. Since the AP exam is during the 2nd week of May and we don't finish the school year until the end of June, we have some time to frolic on our lovely campus and blog about it.

All topics were chosen by students, although there are some guidelines they must follow: the post must be about biology, it must be informative and contain pictures, and it must be accurate. We do focus quite a bit on the biology we see right outside our window on our lovely campus, specifically Rand Park.

Some posts are organized under pages/tabs if they are about a popular topic. You can peruse the blog that way or you can just read them in chronological order. Either way, you have hours of engrossing, fun posts to read!

And so reader, I hope you enjoy these posts and learn a thing or two. Please feel free to comment--I'm sure the students would love it! If you would like to contact me, please email me at seckert@montclair.k12.nj.us
